The Amazon is fascinating.  There are yet portions of it to be navigated.  Scholars believe at least one massive Incan city still hasn't been found deep in the Amazon.  The jungle stretches across multiple countries and its wildlife is unmatched anywhere on the  world.  Before traveling to South America it was very high on my to-do list and it definitely did  not disappoint. 

It only whet my appetite for another excursion into the womb of the earth... the next time to Brazil, the heart of the Amazon.
